THE OTHER MOONWATCH

March 27, 2025 – The Omega Speedmaster proudly, and rightfully bears the moonwatch moniker having left our planet aboard the Apollo 11 with Neil Armstrong bound for the moon in 1969. On Armstrong’s return, he was gifted one of 26 gold Speedmasters Omega created and delivered to NASA to give to the astronauts involved in the mission. Armstrong’s Omega, No.17 of the 26 is engraved with his name, as well as a quote that reads “To mark man’s conquest of space with time, through time, on time.” The incredibly rare Speedmaster is stunning in 18k gold with a burgundy aluminium bezel. There are a few scratches on it that tell stories of one of the most famous men of the last 100 years. On April 17th the watch goes for auction, so if you’ve been saving some cash for that special grail watch, now’s your moment!
