Sept 03, 2023 – It’s no secret to you all that here at The Premium Time Company HQ we’re pretty big fans of the OMEGA X Swatch collaboration, with the utterly brilliant MoonSwatches. Iconic designs wrapped up in affordable and cool timepieces that open the snooty watch world up to a whole new generation of watch lovers, awesome we say!

Well, it’s about to get a whole lot more *awesomer|! (*not a real word) Earlier this week Swatch quietly dropped a few full page ads in a number of daily newspapers around the world, showing just an image of water, with a half-finished ‘Swatch X’ logo in it, implying a new collab was coming. This has been followed by the brand reveal, and it’s Blancpain! The iconic timepiece company can claim to have launched the first true diving watch before Rolex and OMEGA with the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in 1953.

It seems there could be five editions coming with the collab, one representing each of the five oceans on the planet, at the moment all we know is the launch date is this Saturday, the 9th September, in selected Swatch stores worldwide.
