Full Set of MoonShine

February 02, 2024 – The Omega X Swatch Moonswatch story has come over all Pulp Fiction, revealing eleven briefcases cases full of gold! To support the Orbis charity, with which Omega has been associated for over ten years, eleven cases of Moonswatches will be auctioned off at Sotheby’s. These aren’t just any Moonswatches though, for the first time all eleven of the Mission to Moonshine gold Moonswatches will be present together in case and available to purchase for eleven lucky

Are we Getting a Snoopy Moonswatch?

January 29th, 2024 – After a decent run, Swatch has given us almost every possible version of the Moonswatch now, with a collection of varied limited gold enhanced editions to mark the different full moons. Recently they dropped a cryptic clip on Instagram of Snoopy himself howling at the moon over a case of Moonswatches, raising heartbeats and general excitement at the prospect of a possible Snoopy Moonswatch. With the wolf moon having passed on the 25th of January with

We’ll See You on the Other Side

January 17, 2024 – Five years ago in 2018 Omega dropped the Dark Side of the Moon Speedmaster on us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Apollo 8 mission. The stunning and collectible Omega gets a revamp this year, and what a piece it is. Now with a clear caseback, and engraved with the famous line of astronaut Jim Lovell just before he went out of radio contact behind the moon, “We’ll see you on the other side.”

Rolex Megastore Plan in Motion

January 11, 2024 – What do you do if you’re a luxury watch manufacturer with a global shortage of timepieces to sell to the honest watch enthusiast? Why you build massive megastores of course! Yes, we’re a bit confused by the latest news that Rolex are planning to open some seriously big stores over the next couple of years, presumably so the sound of the sales rep saying “These are for display purposes only sir” can really echo and fill

Swatch Works Up A Storm

January 10, 2024 – The Swatch X Blancpain collab kicks off 2024 in style with the best-looking model so far, the ‘Ocean of Storms’. Looking stunning in black bioceramic, for us this one most closely resembles the original Fifty Fathoms dive watch of Blancpain. Like the others in the lineup the ‘Ocean of Storms’ is a proper mechanical watch, with clear caseback so you can marvel at the workings. Water resistant to 91 metres, it’s a proper dive watch too.

A little Bit More Expensive

January 09, 2024 – Rolex have again kicked off the new year with an announcement of price increases. Those lucky enough to be stepping into an official dealer to buy a new Rolex at retail in Europe can expect between 5-10% increases on the sticker price. No increase slated for the US, you lucky buggers! Honestly, if we were lucky enough to be walking into a Rolex dealer to buy a new watch, we’d probably not complain too much about

Collab Kings

December 01, 2023 – Audemars Piguet continue their tradition of traffic-stopping collaborations, partnering with rapper Travis Scott to create a stunning ‘Cactus Jack’ ceramic piece. The iconic watch maker has a long history of credible collabs, with legends such as Jay-Z linked to the Royal Oak, and of course basketball legend LeBron James has his own AP! Scott’s Royal Oak ‘Cactus Jack’ Edition, has been nicknamed ‘The Chocolate AP’. It is an insanely complicated timepiece, including a cool moonphase calendar

Not A Lemon

November 14, 2023 – So… Christmas is coming, and we’ve been really, REALLY good this year. Could someone please make sure this rather insanely amazing Rolex is in our Christmas stocking? Thanks very much. What is it you ask? Well, not to be confused with the ‘more common’ champagne dial Paul Newman Daytonas, which are, let’s be honest, not very bloody common at all to us normal people, it is in fact *swoon, a ‘lemon’ dial Paul Newman Daytona. We’ve been

Zenith Goes Team Green

November 03, 2023 – It seems Rolex aren’t the only ones who can make a stunning watch in green! Zenith have teamed up with NFL quarterback star Aaron Rodgers to create a new, limited edition chrono, The Chronomaster Sport Aaron Rodgers Edition. Just 250 pieces are being produced at $12,800 and it seems they are out of stock after 24hrs!

Goldie Lookin… Watch

October 12, 2023 – Sometimes all that glitters… Is gold (well, gold-plated anyway). TAG Heuer have us a little bit round eyed today with their stunning new heritage inspired 18k gold Carrera Chronograph. Inspired by their 1960s 1158CHN model, this modern interpretation is maybe a little steep at $21k, but here in The Premium Time Office we kind of love it.

Pick Up A Porsche (sort of)

Oct 12, 2023 – It’s all gone a bit Porsche! Just a few weeks ago Porsche and TAG Heuer announced two new chronograph watches to celebrate both the 60th anniversary of the TAG Heuer chronograph, and of course the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 901 (the grandfather of the 911). Continuing the theme, Porsche Design have muscled in on the action and just announced a reimagining of their military chronograph, which was first introduced in 1979. Whilst you should be

catch of the day

Sept 03, 2023 – It’s no secret to you all that here at The Premium Time Company HQ we’re pretty big fans of the OMEGA X Swatch collaboration, with the utterly brilliant MoonSwatches. Iconic designs wrapped up in affordable and cool timepieces that open the snooty watch world up to a whole new generation of watch lovers, awesome we say! Well, it’s about to get a whole lot more *awesomer|! (*not a real word) Earlier this week Swatch quietly dropped

The Skipper Returns

July 13, 2023 – TAG Heuer are making us swoon in the heat as they breathe new life into one of the most iconic watches of the last 100 years. The Skipper is back! A rebirth of the 1968 TAG Heuer Skipper, the original timepiece took it’s stunning colours from actual paint chips off the deck of the Intrepid the 1967 Americas Cup winning boat.As unusual as it is for a chrono to be sea-focused, we can’t help but get

Only Watch, No Touch!

July 03, 2023 – Can we all stop whatever it is we were doing for just a minute to appreciate this insanely beautiful timepiece from Tudor. A unique, one-off watch built for Only watch 2023, it’s an interpretation of Tudor’s classic ‘Big block’ chronograph, which was discontinued in the 90s’. Majestically named ‘The Prince Chronograph One’, it’s presented in 18k gold and houses a brand-new Manufacture Chronograph Calibre, developed entirely in-house by Tudor. Sadly, there is only one…so we won’t
